I have just realised that I haven't blogged since the 15th November which is terrible!
I have been very busy with my Xmas orders, have managed to get away for a couple of weeks and have sorted out a few personal issues and I'm now ready to get back to jewellery making.
My daughter has just started a nursery so hopefully I will have more time now (unless she protests and starts hating the nursery...)
Going back to my Xmas orders, there were a couple of pieces which particularly stood out for me:
One was a Silver washer bracelet made for somebody who was allergic to nuts (with the word 'ALLERGIC TO NUTS' stamped on - obviously). It thought this was a great idea, this bracelet could be made with other medical alerts such as peanut allergy, asthmatic, insulin dependent etc.
My other favourite was a personalised copper heart keyring which was originally supposed to be stamped with the following love message: My soulmate, true love & best friend. I thank god I found you! Leanne x
I thought this was a lovely message but the customer changed her mind at the last minute and had the keyring stamped with a slightly more unusual love message which just made me laugh! See below:
